Cross Lowtable
The Cross consist of five very simple and basic cubes, stripped of any remnant of decoration, texture, or anything. What makes it special and unusual is the motion, the dynamic of its shape, the moment that its massive volume – which represents the tabletop – is raised from the floor, resting on the much smaller cubes. Deliberate control of the stability and balance give this piece a very strong character.
The Cross is large enough to accommodate larger spaces, but discretely and without any encumbrance, because it appears to be suspended. The perfectly produced and blended lines of the cubes reflect MOYA design, where the quality of the material and the workmanship come first. The Cross can easily fit with various pieces of furniture, the two-tone combination making it easily adaptable.
